LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

We are seeking a bi-lingual (English / Spanish) person with 3 plus years’ experience in freight forwarding. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, negotiating rates, working closely with other departments and following up on consolidations and freight arrangements. You will be responsible for organizing paperwork and generating purchase orders for the Billing and Accounts Payable departments as well as handling and following up on freight claims.

On occasion, you will be asked to purchase items for some of our vendors. 

Responsibilities also include improving efficiencies within the department and creating opportunities by selling freight to parties outside the company.
